First surfacing as a mysterious 12” in 1996 marked only as ‘Voices’, ‘Can You See The Light?’ was championed by NY’s Body & Soul team, fast becoming one of the top tier and enduring dance classics at the legendary NY party. Although never seeing an official release, the song would become one of the most loved and sought after recordings from this golden era of house music, taking dancers on a spiritual journey. Produced by Joe Flame, Mark Rivas and Walter Robinson, the recording features a host of talented singers from the world of House and Gospel, including Michelle Weeks, Dawn Tallman, Jamal Alicia, Sabrynaah Pope & Damon Horton. Sandy Rivera of Kings Of Tomorrow provides the anthemic Classic Mix, along with some lesser known and lost K.O.T. versions. In addition we present 4 previously unheard versions by original producer Joe ‘Joeflame’ Davis, and as a special bonus we are pleased to be able to present the Raw Demo for the first time, featuring additional vocals from Ceybil Jefferies.
